GreenShape provided a full range of support to University of Maryland University College on the major renovation of a three-story, 200,000 square foot building in College Park, MD. GreenShape conducted an initial charrette for the project, guided the refinement of drawings and specifications to incorporate the project’s LEED strategies, and supported the owner and project team in documenting the project’s sustainable accomplishments. GreenShape managed and compiled the construction phase LEED documentation, integrating the work of three separate construction contractors. This project was awarded LEED Gold Certification in April 2010, under the LEED for New Construction rating system.
