Meet GreenShape’s Newest Team Members

Angi Rivera, LEED Fellow, Assoc. AIA joined us as Managing Director/Senior Project Manager joined GreenShape in mid-2016. She has been busy meeting our current clients and developing enhanced Quality Assurance processes for our Proven Provider work. You may know Angi as an active member of the USGBC NCR chapter or from one of the many LEED user groups she has participated in over her fifteen-year sustainability management career. Formerly Regional Sustainability Practice Leader of one of the world’s largest A/E firms, Angi has managed sustainable design and planning projects for government and commercial projects globally. She provides a full range of sustainability services including daylight simulation daylight and sunlight analyses using IES <Virtual Environment. Angi and Iris have worked together on multiple EBOM projects and together they developed the AOC Sustainability and Energy Management Plan. Full bio>

 

Rene Brana, LEED AP BD+C, Project Manager, joined GreenShape in November, bringing more than eight years of experience across the realms of green building, corporate sustainability, sustainability reporting and operations management. He has helped Fortune 500 companies embed sustainability throughout their operations and is well versed across the sustainability management spectrum providing services including CDP Reporting, Newsweek Green Rankings, corporate sustainability reporting, and carbon footprinting. Rene’s experience encompasses multiple facets of sustainability including numerous LEED NC and LEED O&M projects. Rene has assumed a management role on several ongoing GreenShape projects over the past month. He is excited to begin a few of our new projects in 2017, including the Adelaide Davis Swing Space for DCPS and the SUNY Upstate Health & Wellness Center (UHWC), which is conveniently located near his hometown in upstate New York.
