The LEED 2014 Family Tree

If you’re confused about the new nomenclature in LEED version 4, you’re not alone.  LEED started out as one rating system and then expanded into a family of 10 rating systems addressing different building types and scopes. Not to rest on their laurels, with LEED v4 USGBC has also added new siblings addressing data centers, hospitality, and warehouses.  The LEED family tree is now organized into 5 branches: BD+C, Homes, O+M, ID+C and ND.  Here is a spiffy USGBC visual.
