GreenShape assisted the Union of Concerned Scientists in making their new 18,000 sf office in Downtown DC environmentally responsible. We worked with UCS, the design and construction team, and the building owner to identify sustainability strategies. GreenShape managed the LEED certification process, working closely with the project team to provide research and documentation support during design and construction. The initial project goal of LEED CI Silver certification was exceeded and a LEED CI Gold award was achieved under GreenShape’s leadership and the engagement of the building owner in the certification process.
