MARSOC Camp LejeuneCAMP LEJEUNE, NC - GreenShape provided sustainability consulting services for the MARSOC (Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command) campus, which includes five certified and seven certifiable buildings. The 151,600 SF Headquarters building achieved LEED NC Silver certification in 2010, Building E (Bachelor Enlisted Quarters) was LEED NC Certified in 2011, and Building N achieved LEED NC Silver certification in 2012. | Cannon House Office BuildingWASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape is providing sustainability and LEED consulting services for the Cannon House Office Building modernization, helping the Architect of the Capitol establish sustainable design requirements in program development and continuing through all stages of design and construction. The project is optimizing the energy and environmental performance by improving building systems and space efficiency, and by preserving the fabric of this culturally iconic, historic structure. | US Census Bureau HeadquartersSUITLAND, MD - GreenShape served as the sustainability consultant to manage the LEED certification process for the US Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, MD. This 1.5 million SF building stands adjacent to Metrorail and features an extensive network of green roofs with over a mile of sidewalks, two reflecting ponds for storm water management, and an efficient under-floor air distribution system. One hundred percent of this building’s energy has been off-set through the purchase of RECs. |

DC Courts Building CWASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape provided sustainability consulting to support the renovation and expansion of the 53,821 SF historic DC Courts building. GreenShape worked with the architect to complete the LEED documentation for this project. The project maintained over 95% of existing walls, floors, roof, and estimates over 26% energy cost savings over ASHRAE 90.1-2007. The project achieved a Gold rating under the LEED for New Construction rating 2009 rating system in 2013. | Martin Luther King LibraryWASHINGTON, DC - Designed by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the Martin Luther King Jr. Library is a historic gem and the only building in DC designed by him. The building is being renovated and modernized whilst retaining historically significant features. GreenShape is providing sustainability and LEED consulting services from conceptually design through construction completion, with a minimum Silver certification and aspirational Gold certification. Completion is anticipated late 2019. |
