Capitol CrossingWASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape is serving as sustainability consultant on this unique project being built on a platform over a portion of the Interstate 395 tunnel in downtown DC. Covering over 2.2 million sf, this project will include an underground parking garage and 5 mixed-use buildings along with substantial green spaces. Each building is targeted to achieve LEED Platinum but with several progressive sustainable design features the project definitely goes beyond LEED. | City Market at OWASHINGTON, DC - City Market at O is an urban infill development project that centers around the restoration of a historic public market into a Giant Food store. The development also includes residential units, a hotel and retail spaces. GreenShape supported the development of the PUD, guided the project team in complying with Green Communities criteria, and lead the LEED Certification effort for the residential spaces, retail and grocery store portion. The project has achieved LEED Gold. | TerrazzoNASHVILLE, TN - The Gulch, a fashionable urban neighborhood located in the Arts Center Redevelopment District in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, is home to Terrazzo, a 199,000 square foot mixed-use tower. Owned by Crosland Development, this $40 million project combines luxury condominiums, modern offices, and upscale restaurants and shops. As sustainability consultant, GreenShape guided Crosland to incorporate LEED standards into the design. |

Southwest Waterfront RedevelopmentWASHINGTON, DC - Located near Washington, DC’s Southwest Waterfront, this 13.5 acre adaptive-reuse planned urban development creates an active new streetscape that connects the Waterfront to the main arteries of Southwest DC and beyond. The project included the reopening of Fourth Street, SW, to integrate the development into the overall city grid. It is designed to establish a new town center with residences, a retail street and a Metro Plaza that acts as a green roof. |
