SUNY Health and Wellness CenterSYRACUS, NY - SUNY Upstate Medical University. This 250,000 square foot Ambulatory Care center is targeting LEED Gold and WELL certification. GreenShape is managing both rating systems and is helping the project team achieve their sustainability goals. The project includes a proposed green roof, stormwater quality and quantity control, an energy efficient HVAC system, circadian light design and biophilic building design. | Inova Lorton HealthPlexLORTON, VA - GreenShape was responsible for sustainability and LEED management for the design and construction of the new Inova Lorton HealthPlex. The 50,200 square foot complex includes an emergency department, outpatient radiology and exam space, and a second floor shell space to be fit out as a future outpatient surgery floor. The project achieved LEED certification in 2014. | Sibley Hospital Radiation Oncology CenterWASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape managed the LEED certification process for this 37,000 SF healthcare facility. The project installed the largest green roof of any healthcare facility in DC (17,000 SF), which is visible from the patient tower. Patient health and comfort was the top priority so the project included a respite garden and used warm interior finishes. The project achieved LEED Gold certification in 2013. |

Sibley Patient TowerWASHINGTON, DC - GreenShape managed the LEED certification process for a new 225,000 SF patient tower on the campus of Sibley Memorial Hospital. GreenShape guided the project team through the design and construction processes and has aided the Sibley/Johns Hopkins Health System green team in developing practices to support sustainable operations. The project achieved LEED Gold certification in 2018. | Sibley Hospital Proton CenterWASHINGTON, DC - Our third project with Sibley Hospital, GreenShape managed the LEED certification process for this 75,000 SF state-of-the-art treatment facility. The team was able to overcome the challenges posed by extremely high energy demands of the facility's equipment and achieve LEED Silver certification in 2020, making it the second proton therapy center to earn LEED certification. |
